Hi all

Can anyone tell me which fuse is a permanent live on the interior fusebox? I am hardwiring a dashcam which has a permanent and switched wire, I've already found the cigarette lighter for the switched fuse but I want to use the permanent feed as well to record when the car is locked. The camera monitors battery level etc.

Any help predicate

Cheers

I actually need both a switched and a live as the camera switches modes when the switched supply goes off to a lower resolution or a timelapse mode depending on what you set and then starts the battery monitoring

Can I just install a fuse into that lower position and keep the switched one active?

I left the cigarette lighter fuse where it was and used a tap from that for my switched live.
Some of the unused fuse locations have live terminals in them - I found a permanent live which I used as permanent live to support the parking mode of the camera.

I found a picture that shows the permanent 12V connector. The red wire in the picture below is connected to the permanent 12V supply.
