I have one here to be fitted but it looks an absolute nightmare to fit to be honest. I tried to fit it from underneath before but its very difficult to get access. Did any of the exhaust studs hit the runners of the manifold before the manifold flange would sit flat.
Was it only the dog bone mount you removed or did you need to slacken the engine side mount and gear box mount too.

driver side engine mount and dog mount , was trial and error thats why it took all day getting the manifold on wasn't so hard but getting it to line up to the turbo was the hardest bit and the bolt to the turbo and exhaust manifold nearest to the downpipe was the hardest which is why the downpipe had to be removed and heatshield had to be slightly modified cause it was touching but that was no biggy

What's the n249 you mentioned you bypassed? I'm about to get another LCR and like the sound of some minor mods to improve feel/performance if you can recommend any. That TIP looks cool on and I read you said it feels quicker with it on. Thanks

The tip made a world of a difference , n249 help it holds boost long it seems and car felt alot smoother afterwards

Think I'll try them two mods. Did I read that you changed the dog bone mount? The car I'm interested in has it changed and the guy has even said its noticeable the vibration at low revs. How bad is it as this is going to be the wife's/kids daily drive car?? Cheers

before all the bits go , went to hinckley today to see how much manifold actually gained and gained overall of 13bhp while lost peak torque average torque was higher across the rev range especially the midrange and my n75 postion went from around 87-90% to now 71-75 % ,

U changing car pete? You just started the project lol?

yeah something quite newer , but as been dicussing on the facebook page i'm running more power on stage1 map with than most most stage 2's on a realistic dyno , the two crucial areas it seems are manifold and tip , niki wanted to tweaked the map as the he said turbo now ain't even trying the hard to make 283bhp the egt's are way down so more timing could be addded so realistically i could have crack 290bhp+ with stock exhaust and de-cat and bare in mind i'm running stock twin coolers

if i new how to upload graphs i would post my graphs on here , only reason i didnt tweak the map was it will be in bits soon so no point but it seems with bill's and wild willy don't forget 3" then 80mm tip creation and a more free flowing stable manifold no longer will the myth of can k04 crack 300 it can

Cool. Guess that first thing on the agenda. It's completely standard apart from a panel filter so don't want to go mad with it. It's gonna be the family's daily drive so will prob just get a Stage 1. Anyone know if anyone does Revo in the North?
