If you leave that EGR pipe like that, I guarantee there will be a thread soon asking whats best to replace the 90 degree pipe off the EGR. as that pipe burns through it quick style, giving a massive boost leak.

Just take the wee flexy bit off and blank it at the next part, leaving the EGR cooler in place

Hello Mrs postman...

Hello understeer ;) hehe

I think vroomtshh means the one with the X on that I was on about on the last page or the one below that on the egr manifold piece. There's a short piece that you can get access to from underneath easily that you could remove. The short piece goes from the manifold looking piece to under the one with the X on.

Haha the Ibiza does enough under steer itself so a little bit more ain't too bad lol. Ah right well the bodge isn't touching anything so shouldn't rub through.

Here's the strut brace tho:

Nope mines not bolted?? It just pushes in and the reason it's came out is the pressure has become high now due to the blanking plate and it's popped out. The only thing stopping it from coming out is a little flare on the flexi

Odd, all the ones Ive seen bolt on. I'll check my mates BLT at the weekend

lower cooler to manifold bolts on, fit the blanking plate straight to the manifold to blank it right off or at point 11 on that diagram to keep gasses out of it alltogether. The cooler can also be removed with little effort, you remove one piece of hose loosen the rest of the water plumbing to it then rotate and join the pipes in a free and un kinked fashion. No extra parts needed at all.

Car looks lovely mate, I want my roof wrapped in carbon along with my spoiler, need to start doing bits and bobs soon as my work pull their heads out their arses and pay me my 3 weeks pay they owe me, hope to get wind deflectors, some lamin-x film, smoked repeaters and a mk5 golf rear wiper or might try and get one of the newer model Ibiza as the metal one I have at the mo looks crap

Hmm could be tempted by the rear wiper, I've tried tint spray before and it looked crap as I wanted to get a glossy finish but couldn't to keep them looking like they are meant to be tinted, found some stuff on eBay which looks good and is half the price of lamin-x so will prob get that, birthday presents of my lass so I ain't paying :)
