phone kit on lcr 225

hi all had my leon for 6months now, im sure it never used to do this but about 1 min after i get in the car or when its first in motion i get a bleep and the sterio flashes phone! does this mean the car has a phone kit? if so how do i use it and why hasnt it always done it? any help would be appriciated guys thanks in advance!

This is common of the nokia kits - almost certainly a CK7W.

If you do a bluetooth scan from a bluetooth ready mobile phone and it finds a "CK7w" use the pairing code "0000" and it should connect.

thanks shaun mate ill give that ago. how come it hasnt always done it though? my phone is a sony erricson will this still work?

Unsure why its not always done it - possible that previous owner had same type of phone paired to it as you had and that you changed to a newer phone?

Not sure this is feasible as every bluetooth device should be unique but its not something I have experimented with.

Your SE phone will work fine ( I've used all sorts of phones on nokia bluettoth kits)

Only phones that don't seem to work brilliantly are the windows mobile 6 smartphones eg HTC S710/E650 etc.

Let us know if you need advice on pairing the phone (include the phones model number) and I'm sure someone can help.
