Model Year 23/24 Andorid Auto randomly connects/disconnects

I have an issue with Android auto that randlomly disconnetcts/connects to the infotainment (connecting wirelessly, do not want to use cable). Software infotainment version is 1940, my phone is Realme 7 Pro. Phone is working fine and I do not have any issues within inotainment system operation except this AA periodically conecting/disconnecting.

When AA is in use (google maps for instance), it works fine, no disconnection.

I would prefer to make AA connection on only on demand (to keep it turned off as defualt), but I do not fully understand options I have on my phone under android auto section.

There are 3 options on my phone to start AA automatically:

- always: I do not want this as I want to be off as default
- if used on the last drive: I tried this, before turrning car off, I disconnected AA on my phone, and turned the car off. At the next car start, AA android automatically connects. Should not it stay disconeected?
- default (set by the vehicle): again, it will connect AA automatically on the next vehicle start.

Any solution to keep AA disconeected while car is started?

I have been having similar issues. I have the preferred screen selected. Then it disconnects AA, the reconnects it, which prompts the display to show the AA home screen, which then necessitates me having to select me preferred screen again. Rinse and repeat 3 or 4 times an hour. Argghhhh!

Update, I managed to make AA off as a default setting. Under Full Link -> Android Auto option, there is a switch to turn on/off AA connection.

Once it is off, no AA will start with the car, still bluetooth phone calls works, which is excatly what I needed.

Of course, if AA is required, you can easily connect with the phone by clicking on Full Link -> AA and connect it.
