whats the five spoke style mate, i was in skidz in falkirk today, and they do the "new" mk5 golf r32 alloy which is a different multispoke from the mk4 golf one, but they also do a new one which the guy at skidz says is an option when buying the r32 now, its basically a solid five spoke over another five spoke, making it a ten spoke . i know this sounds daft. but any one will do mate. cheers

I believe this must be the alloys you mean.

Personally I dont really like them. THey remind me of the ones on a basic cupra, there just a multispoke. Its funny though because on a golf they look great.

Anyway heres your pic. I can do it again with a pic of your car if you wish. This is about the best I can do with what I got

Multi Spoke Alloys

I really like to look of the multi spokes on the Leon Tbh, I've got the 20Vt with the std 16in multi spoke alloy's and really like the look of them, and was thinking of going to R32 multi spokes in 18in, as it does'nt change the overal look of the car too much.

My only gripe with the multi spokes is they are a bugger to clean, which is the only reason I probably wouldn't fit multi spokes again

Its good that people have different tastes etc. But those alloys stopped me buying one Leon. No offence to anyone but I just think they dont suit the car.....

........But they look great on a Mk4 golf.

I think the leon is a hard car to find alloys for, that might just be me being fussy though.

thats actually different alloys that are on the mk4 golf, the ones on the leon are mk5 r32 alloys, ithink they look quite nice actually and i haven't seen the mk5 ones on a leon. thanks very much for that though stevie, much appreciated.

well as my first post says its actually the other "optional" alloys from the mk5 r32, i just dont know there name, its a five spoke on top of a five spoke = ten spoke. its like a more modern rounder edged version of the old rs4 alloy , i know the rs4 on is nine spoke but that might give you the idea. its on skidz web page under vw audi replicas and is number 89 i think, you should maybe check out skidz webpage it'll give you a better idea than this rambling post will.:confused::doh::headhurt:

yeah thats them although the picture doesn't do them justice. r32s normally come with the multispoke ones that are on the leon at the top of this page. according to that webpage the multispoke ones are only on the "stock" r32. the other ones must be for the "specked up model"

i think you are confusing the mk4 and mk5 r32's. as far as i can tell there is only 1 set of alloys offered by vw for the mk5.

no mate if you go into the page again and click the "alloys" bit the multispokes are the next thumnail to the left. those are the only alloys that ive seen on the mk5 r32, i didn't even know about the ten spoke ones until saturday.

i see your point, interestingly both have captions saying they are standard on the r32 however the multispokes also say "(stock models only)" which, perhaps means that the omanyt have replaced the zolder as the standard rims on new cars from the factory?

as a side note, those omanyts are gorgeous! is the general concensus that they wont fit the lcr?

i can get them on with 10mm spacers i think. i think they would suit the car but you never know eh !the mk4 multispokes differ from the mk5 ones because the mk5's are actually twin multi spoke as opposed to the mk4 being singular spokes ie. the mk5 wheels are actually ten "pairs" of spokes instead of the mk4s only being fifteen singular spokes. so mk5 = twenty spoke mk4 = fifteen spoke. personally i like both the new r32 alloys.

Can you get us a side on pic of your car mate. Might be easier.

I have done it on the same car as above, but a side on view would work better
