Is any one useing PIAA extreme white plus bulbs? wouldnt mind a little bit of feedback before i part with the cash?

just buy some HIDs mate, i'll vouch for them 100%.
I used to have PIAA bulbs in a nova rally car years ago and whilst they were a little brighter than standard they were no-where near as bright or clear as HIDs.
 
yeah i know what you mean about hid's, 6000k is to blue for me. i have been thinking about the 5000k cant seem to find a decent picture of them on a car. wot kelvin rating are bmw etc. the piaa bulbs look like the modern hid colour that im after.
 
they are never that colour once fitted, they still have an orangey tint where as 6000k hids are the brightest and whitest light you can get. All the sets i've had have been 6k becuase like yourself i didnt want them to be too blue.

My 6k had blue in them my 4.3k don't.
 
6k is directly on the borderline of white/blue i've seen some 8k ones and they were terrible.
 
Dont quote me on this but the higher the quality of the components the more likely and accurate the kelvin rating of the bulbs should be.
