PIAA extreme white plus bulbs

Is any one useing PIAA extreme white plus bulbs? wouldnt mind a little bit of feedback before i part with the cash?

just buy some HIDs mate, i'll vouch for them 100%.
I used to have PIAA bulbs in a nova rally car years ago and whilst they were a little brighter than standard they were no-where near as bright or clear as HIDs.

yeah i know what you mean about hid's, 6000k is to blue for me. i have been thinking about the 5000k cant seem to find a decent picture of them on a car. wot kelvin rating are bmw etc. the piaa bulbs look like the modern hid colour that im after.

they are never that colour once fitted, they still have an orangey tint where as 6000k hids are the brightest and whitest light you can get. All the sets i've had have been 6k becuase like yourself i didnt want them to be too blue.

I have 55w 4.3k hids click my sig for pics
I use the PIAA in my high beam.

6k is directly on the borderline of white/blue i've seen some 8k ones and they were terrible.

I originally had 8k too blue, changed to 6k still lighting up the road signs blue( but not as bad) so went 4300k.

cheers for the replys. i will have to have a proper look at these hid kits, if i can make up my mind wot k rating i want. Do the colours of the hid kit differ from each manufacture?these where the bulbs:

Going from mine an MJ's replies they seem to.

Dont quote me on this but the higher the quality of the components the more likely and accurate the kelvin rating of the bulbs should be.
