You went for a slightly larger LPG tank then me then

My Fabia vRS has the tank where the spare used to be, no NOS on mine unfortunately but I reckon my insurer would kill me anyway :D

Looks like you've got a load of custom aluminium bracketing going on under the bonnet, very nice

what kind of impact will the LPG tank take?

say a rear end shut - will you end up being a crispy or are they foam filled or anything?

lpg tanks are indestructable - made to maintain integrity at 200+ psi. There's no way a rear end accident would crack it / break it. :)

Nice one Mikey! :D Loving the NOS setup - giving me bad ideas now....

The tank is EU certified and stamped so it has passed all the usual safty tests for useage in road vehicles so hopefully should be OK.

won't that interfere whth it's strength / certification?

There is a steel lid that screws onto the tank. All i was going to do was wield a threaded bolt onto the lid so i could place the space saver on top and then hold it in place with a plate and threaded nut on top or something. Just an idea i was toying with since a can of foam isn`t alot of good if you rip a tyre or damage an alloy.

Mike - How does that air filter compare to stock? It looks well cool. I think I may have to come up and take your offer of a ride - but not in the same way it was implied to Georgie, yeah? :D

Seems reasonable ;)

Not sure when I have some time out but perhaps we can meet up to see how the cars compare, won't be in January though I reckon based on still not having the tuning sorted, EGT gauge not delivered&installed yet (min Jan probably for that).

No idea how the tuning will go on mine, gonna need to spend some significant RR time I reckon to tune it well ;)

The gasket blew while i was on the RR but this is with just diesel and propane. I had been running the car with 75bhp of NOS comming into play at about 20 psi for two weeks with no problems along with the diesel and propane but i never got around to getting a power run with all three working.
