Piper - Rusty Tips??

Im looking for some feedback on the Piper rusty tip problem. I ordered and fitted my cat back system 2 weeks ago, when I washed the car this weekend I noticed that tip was starting to rust. I thought this problem had been sorted out? I phoned Piper yesterday to find that Gary has left the company. I spoke with Tom who was unaware of the problem, he did some digging around and it turns out they are awaiting another batch of tips from the far east which are going to be in this country around mid September.

So……..is anyone else suffering with a rusty tip? Had Gary sorted all the original rusty tips as there is a list is the Piper sticky? Has anyone else got a revised tip which is rusting? Like I said earlier I thought this had been ironed out but it seems that the problem is still lurking.

I have a rusty tip, exhaust is over a year old. Never got round to me to replace it.
Shame Gary has left...hope we continue to get the good customer service.

Was yours one of the original tips or a supposed “revised” tip?
I am also hoping we get the same customer service from Piper, Tom was helpful and did call back, which is unusual these days. Fingers crossed!

Yeah its been sorted out. I have another back box waiting to go on. If you ring Piper and ask to speak to Tom he'll sort you out.

mine ok only been on the car 2 month and sounds graet and not rusting as yet and hope it will not
