anybody had one of these on the mk3 cupra and are they any good? im looking at buying a jabba sport induction kit but also considering the viper.

thoughts.......

Just buy an open cone filter for about £40 brand new, I ran the dynatwist which was £200 new, I changed it last week for an open cone filter from forge which costs a 3rd of the price. Dont waste your money

ok cool, jabba sport no good either then?

Its just a cone filter (JR I think?) with a heatshield. Not saying its not good mate but at over £200 for one you'd do better buying a £40 jobby and spending the rest of the £££ on something else:)

Oh and the dynatwist I bought new I used vouchers I got through work so I never paid for it:)

Think about it, £200 for a filter or £40 for a filter, you could then get a forge DV and probably still have about £80 left over

yeah getting my forge dv next week fitted, right so what induction kit and where do i buy it?

Any will do really, Im using a forge motorsport one. You can purchase this from Forge off here, check the forge section and speak to them there. You get a discount via seatcupra.net:)

Dont pay someone to fit your DV mate, its a 5 min job, really easy

Loads of diferent induction kits people go for on here. Some go for cheap universal ebay ones around £30, most go for the Green Dynatwist around £60-£80 second hand and others like myself go for a custom one

mmmm so the Pipercross I ran on my Fabia was a one off and was ok
Got 4bhp more with that on
Sorry
Sarah

will not be buying a pipercross then, how much did you pay for the forge induction and do you have any pics?

So basically they are not s*ite , but maybe worth looking at something else for that particular model
I am sorry to be picky but you cannot use that word as a general but did not perform that well
We have been selling Pipercross for a while now and have had some great reports on them and many happy people , including myself
I must admit , I have not seen one on that model , but also could help with some ducting if people have bought them and want to improve on that
I have the Pipercross filter in my car and I see 4mpg gains JUST with the panel filter , so I thing they re great

I got it when I got my front mount intercooler fitted so cant remember, it wasnt that much. Ive got pics but they are on my pc at home so ill host them on here for you later tonight.

Its a nice bit of kit, looks good and gives off a great sound.

Hey hey hey now lads come on....i've got a pipercross viper!

had it on for over a year-sounds nice, looks nice and it sucks in air! lol carnt compare it to anything else as its the only induction i've had on it but it seems good enough to me. :D
