Anyone raced an LCR vs LCR with different stage-1 maps and similar mods to see the difference at pod etc? Will be going with my mates soon and wondered if anyone had done it.

Admittedly they dont have LCR's but will be interesting none the less

Cars will be:

LCR(me lol), Green panel filter, forge DV, AmD or APR map (not made mind up)

Focus RS= decat, exhaust, induction kit, bluefin

Focus ST= bluefin

CTR= induction, Exhaust

Peugeot 205 GTI Turbo Convertable!!!= everything lol running 210bhp

So who is your money on

Focus ST with bluefin must be 270 ish bhp. They are rapid cars with those Volvo engines. Id say that will win and the CTR will be left trailing.

Foxy... ST will just just under that, but is the heaviest car of the lot. My money would be on the LCR and the RS in a close finish. The 205 should be interesting to watch though!

my moneys on the rs (ugly as it is). however, i suspect the 205 would go out to an early lead but be quickly reeled back in.

ST....It'll put the power down better than the others....although the CTR will be very capable, but underpowered in this company.

I had an ST 'finned' to stage 2 (290bhp+) - it coped really well with the power.

My LCR (with a dash of Revo) is capable now - after suspension mods..tended to be a bit manic before the coilies + ARBs.

Just my opinion though !

BTW....If you're wanting money on it.......I don't have an opinion !

Yup, the RS i recon, not a slow car and can use everythin it has very well!
then the LCR then the ST, CTR but with the GTi close behind!

well lighter car better pull away then the st just aftyer then i reckon rs for out and out power to be honest

Hmmmmmm

Some interesting points made there

TBH not really worried about the RS as he can't even leave me or the ST by much now pre-remap lol, very overrated motor IMO but the ST is another story! Another of my mates has a 310bhp ST3 and it gave my evo big problems!

Hopefully if we all get our bits this should happen next Saturday, should be getting my APR map, filter and DV on Friday!
