The front looks good and was quite hard I ended up taking the chrome lip of as it's easier than masking.
The rear not so easy once you put the badge back in it rub against the holder -.- ordered another can to finish it off then going to file the holder down a little so it doesn't rub "/
But all in all it's a good product easy to use thanks guys
I've gone back to a little chrome at the front turns out after a few washes and the cold weather it seems to have taken it tole on the grille surroundings
Although the black outer did look good might try a glow in the dark paint next or might try and see if they make a gloss one or an added extra can to make it gloss effect
Just had a look on uk dip and they now sell a glossifier gives the gloss look for £13 and a metaliser it doesn't lay what metal it will look like but the same £13 might have to get a red spray can another black and a glosser and a silver or grey one with the metal one for the interior trim "/ gets a bit pricey tho
Go on ebay an type in "plasti dip" theres loads. The glossifier has been out for a while. If its damaged the paint or chrome underneath, you've either done something wrong or used cheap crappy plasti dip. Also prep wise, all you have to do is make sure its relatively clean and dry.
My chrome looks as the same, but I did clean them down with some wipes and tissue to remove all the hand marks and grit, and I but around 10 coats on each piece to ensure it came off easy I've heard some people had a problem getting it off because they didn't put enough coats on
I've sprayed my S badge on 4 different occasions for different reasons, I've also sprayed the chrome surround around the S badge and my spare wheel. Each time I've used plasti dip, bought off ebay, I've not had an issue "/ I only used 4 coats
