I'm just about to order some tyres for the LCR and I need tyo know whether SCN members get any discount at my tyres .co .uk. If so how do you get it??

Just plain lazy I guess.

Has any one had any experience with Sunny SN3800s, very similar tread pattern to Eagle F1s but harder wearing and £78 a corner! they are tested to 168 mph

Tyres and brakes are the two places I never try to save money - looking like the F1s doesn't necessarily make them perform the same way, IMHO.

Well said. I look at it as spending that little extra could save your life one day.

yes I agree. Cheap brakes and tyres are a quick way to an accident.

They are really popular here in Saudi Arabia - not Sunny brand but cheap tyres in general - names along the lines of Happy Bumblebee, Shiny Moon, Great Wall etc :)

I wouldn't stray far from Pirelli, Good Year, Bridgestone, Dunlop, Michelin etc... There are other good performance tyres as well like BFGoodrich but I haven't tried them.
