Hi guys am hoping someone can help,
I have a 2012 Leon with media system 2.2
About 3 weeks ago I got into it one day and the navy everything just stopped working, no radio , phone , media nothing at all
The screen displays a message ..
Software update updater v0252... Please insert software cd

I took it to seat who put it on a computer and their tec thought it was a simple software fix but would need to raise a ticket with seat main tech , came back as needing software update and I went ahead and ordered up the update disc which they said is going to be 143 quid . So after a few days the disc arrives I bring the car to seat and wait for an hour while they take the car and plug it in and run the disc to code it in.. After an hour they come back and say that there is a problem it won't take the update and will have to send they tech files away to seat for them to look at the data....
So I call the guy up today after 2 weeks and he tells me that the head unit is faulty and I need da new one to the tune of 900 quid .... Any one had any experience of this before .? As I have no nav, radio, Bluetooth etc..
I use cant understand how one day it can be working and literally when I park the car up go to bed and get up for work the problem presents itself .....
