PLEASE HELP!! Seat leon fr 170 tdi no power

Hi everyone new to this I've been having a big problem with my seat leon fr 170 tdi it's on a 2007 plate the engine code is bmn. I have suddenly lost all power what so ever if I start my car up when it's cold it won't rev at all for about 30 seconds but it is very smooth on tickover when it eventually wants to rev when you go to set off it what's to cut out because it won't build revs up good. When pulling out from a junction or just setting off it will be like a snail for about 5 seconds then pick up abit of speed but not much at all it's lost so much power and I've had it at loads of different garages and no look so far. My car has been remapped to stage 1, dpf removed and egr blanking plate. No fault codes at all show up on any diagnostic scan I'm lost with what's wrong with it. Could any one help me with this or she's any light on what it could be if they've had the same problems it would be much appreciated. As this was starting to happen I put my foot down and half way down the street it just puffed out a massive cloud of white smoke filled the street from both sides. It did this twice down the street and then all power totally gone

Sorry to say it, but it sounds like the turbo mate. Someone else might have other ideas but it sounds classic turbo to me.

I have to agree with Matty here, sounds like the turbo pal.. Mine is currently playing up as well, losing power all of sudden then coming back to life.. Back to the garage it goes seeing as it has warranty on the turbo luckily

Thanks for your replies could a failed turbo still stop it revving on start up though when it's cold? I might just book it in and get a new one fitted next week then

Just got a new turbo fitted and still nothing what else could it be done the inlet manifold aswell. Been a problem car from day 1

Just incase any one wanted to know my car is back to normal it was my remap that had messed up didn't think it could happen but it did

Just out of curiosity who remapped your car? and how was it amended? map cleared or the file updated to prevent the problem? I'd be fuming if i fitted a new turbo for no reason.

It was like a map update because my car was smoking loads when putting my foot down so got few things changed on it by a different company my original map was from Fr&r tuning so took it back to them and they sorted it out

I had similar issues got turbo changed and still same turned out to be bad egr put blanking plate on was fine now have no power I can here the turbo working but just hasn’t got the pull flat as a fart could this be vacuum leak does anyone know
