Please identify this

Ok so I had to make an emergency brake today and after braking really hard this spring jumped from under the driver seat
I cheeked if the passenger seat has the same spring mounted anywhere and couldn’t find it

Anyone know what it is?
Is it even for the seat? Or maybe something that the privies owner left in the car that got lodged under the seat I have the car almost two years and it never popped out

It seems my RS4 8pot brakes are braking my car apart
every time I brake hard something is disconnecting
