PM's - New server, should limits be increased?

Hi,

Just a thought / suggestion / request.

Now you have this nice new shiney sever, whats the chances of the PM limit being reviewed.

PM's dont take up much disk space, and with the massive extra space you now have there is no reason why the limit cannot be 500 - 1000.

I've used much bigger and busier sites than this one (although not as good as this one ) and there limits are in the 1000's rather than 10's.


Go on ... you know it makes sense

The problem is that 1000 PM's take up no space, but 12,000 x 1000 does

And they're embedded in the database, which will affect performance sadly.

i don't have a problem with 30PM's, as said, it keeps people on their toes to empty them out.
Make sure you don't keep sent items if u dont want them - i realised i was keeping my sent items and running out of space.
