when i fitted my cup kit i had to get the bump stops and covers off the old shocks. you will need compressors to fit the new ones anyway.. its not the easiest job to do by yourself..

it would be worth getting the special tool for opening the hubs to slide out the old shocks and fit the new ones. i got fierce hardship doing this
