Hi does anyone know what the difference is?

Never changed the pollen filter so needs to be done.

But looking on euro car parts its came up with both carbon and pollen filters, are they the same thing, do i need both or is one better than the other.

Thanks

fitting wise they are the same, the carbon one has carbon mixed in the cloth to give a greater area for better filtering of smells/pollen/dust etc from the air

usually the carbon is the dearest one but a minimal premium to be honest

thanks will just order the carbon one then. was only £4 of a difference.

Thanks

agreed to be honest - for £4 on top it's worth the extra to help avoid the burnt brakes smell when passing Mc'D's :p

Cabin air filter removes pollutants from the air before they get inside the passenger compartment.

Didn't know you could get a better pollen filter, think i'll get a carbon one next time as I do get pretty bad hayfever in the summer

I've just been tasting the exhaust emissions from cars in front for a year and thoughtmy exhaust was bust and needing replaced. I never thought about changing it or that it could have been the problem. Hopefully £12 that was worth spending.
