Postcode Navigation

Hi,

Just picked up my new Leon FR and was just wondering if its possible with the built in sat nav to search for an address/destination by postcode like you can on a TomTom device?

It states that this is possible on the Sat Nav disk but I cant find a way to to it through the Media System, - it seems a long way round having to select Country, Town, Street etc everytime.

I'm pretty sure you can do it. You don't have to fill in all of the parts it asks you for, just hit enter when it asks for house number, to give an example, and it will skip to the next screen.

if its the same system as the rns 510 you go to search for city and simply type the postcode in, you can only enter the first 5 digits though

Tried postcode search on my RNS310 this morning. It does work how Spenny has suggested with the first 5 digits of the postcode, you then have to start to input the street name (which will hopefully come up on a list after a few letters) then input a number.
I've only had the FL FR TDi for 2 weeks so hadn't got round to playing that much. There is no mention of this in the manual for the RNS310 though.
