potentiometer problem 2.0 8v

I have a little idle issue, I had my car plugged into one of those fault testers and it came back with "Throttle valve potentiometer fault". What the hell should i be looking for?

it's your throttle body.....

what bit? do you which sensor?

the potentiometer is on the side of the throttle body IIRC, so take it off & clean it, but I expect it's knackered & you need a new one.

for a tip - it's where the wired connection goes in.
