what gain would you expect from a full turbo back 3 inch miltek on cupra R, how much more with induction and how much with both plus a re-map?
Cheers

p.s i have tried the search function an dnot really found anything definitive which is why im asking the experts on here :D

I believe the gains are pretty much in line with a normal cupra, so stage 1 roughly 300BHP, stage 2 with TBE +- 340??? then additiona of intercooler and induction sees you on stage 2+ at roughly 365BHP. Not saying this is gospel but that is about as much as I have gathered listening to most folk and i think these details should also be on REVO website.

that makes 340 with exhaust and re map seem believable, how far will the standard turbo go?

As per gains on Cupra, and there are 100's of threads on here about it.

Cupra/Cupra R 240/265 + remap = 300bhp approx - same figures as same engine + turbo

Intake will give approx 15-20bhp more on a mapped car (assuming decent intake like Evoms and not a panel filter/carbonio type deal.
Exhaust will give approx 10-15bhp more on a mapped car (assuming uprated downpipe)
Uprated fuel pump and intercooler for decent numbers although intercooler is not really necessary

Well here goes my first newbie VAG ignorant question - so is the lump in the Cupra exactly the same as the Cupra R? I was under the impression the Cupra R had the same 2.0 TFSI as the S3 & TTS, where as the Cupra was just the standard 2.0 TFSI...

Cupra r and Cupra lump is same. Cupra r has bigger intercooler

Thank you for that. So both have the stronger pistons & gudgeon pins, new rings, reinforced connecting rods, new bearings, reinforced cylinder block at the main bearing pedestals and cap, new lightweight aluminium-silicon alloy cylinder head for high temperature resistance and strength, adjusted exhaust camshaft timing, increased cross-section high-pressure injectors, 1.2 bar boost pressure K04 turbocharger with larger turbine and compression rotor??? (I pinched the list from a very good article on the TT forum).

Wow, I didn't realise how much VFM you were getting with the Seat over the VW or Audi - obviosly there will be other differences inside the cabin and the 4wd system.

Cupra engine is CDL code
Cupra R engine is CDL code

Cupra has suffix D for slightly thinner intercooler (CDLD)
Cupra R has suffix A for slightly thicker intercooler (CDLA)

Therefore engines are absolutely identical. The intercoolers on both need uprated for sustained high power.

K04 turbo will make a max approx 380bhp with meth. Most realistically you'll see somewhere between 350bhp-370bhp with a well set up car running Stage 2+ code, with all the required hardware (induction kit, fuel pump, exhaust, intercooler).

Handling mods such as lower springs/coilovers, WALK are highly recommended along with engine mounts - and of course good tyres (Toyo R888 or R1R).

Not convinced on the WALK (whiteline anti-lift kit) to be honest - uprated engine mounts are good although the car sounds rough with them fitted.

I am running my 888's at the moment - when they are hot, they are truly something else.

I'm a huge fan of my R1Rs, but I will be replacing them with R888 due to the load index on the R1Rs.

I'm also a big fan of the WALK to be honest mate - not sure why you didn't see much benefit  - just out of interest did you fit it before or after your coilovers? I'm thinking coilovers come summer - any recommendations?
