Power Outlets?

I was looking at the specs for the FR on the Seat site yesterday and noticed that as part of the standard interior equipment it states that there are 2 x 12V power outlets, 1 front 1 rear of the centre console. This didnt ring a bell, so I looked last night in mine and as I thought, I dont have them. I have 1 power socket (with a cigar lighter in it) on the console half way up (behind the mirror switch). No other sockets in sight. Just wondered what everone else has? Is this just an error on the Seat site? Or is my car missing standard equipment!?

Power outlets

I noticed the same on mine - just got the cig lighter by the mirror switch.

The spec in the brochure I've got states two power outputs and you mentioned website says same.

I bought a demo off the dealership which was registered in July 06 so not sure if spec altered since.

Think they change the spec as time goes along, I've got one of the last 2L TDi sports it was suppose to have adjustable lumbar support but doesn't have it, some do some don't. I do have the twin 12v socket in mine, not sure if it was standard on the sport or not but mines got it.

I have a Sport TDI ordered in February 06 and delivered April. I have the two sockets and lumbar support.

Unfortunately for you FR owners I think the second 12v socket was dropped in favour of the Aux input socket although why I don't know. Obviously they forgot to update the brochure.

Whilst awaiting the pictures I can tell you that the second 12v socket on mine is located in the centre of the rear console directly under the CD storage rack.

I'd second all of that. :)

Think I'd rather have an aux socket if its the choice of the 2, although a rear socket would have been handy.

Richi.. I see you're thinking of fitting yourself.. how easy do you think it'll be?

Mine come out of the factory in may I think and got to me late june.

I tried about 3 months ago to get a revo remap on it but my ecu type was too new and revo had just starting looking at it, the had one in the workshop the day I was there apparently. It's amazing how many different ecu's are out for the new leon, there was several on their list.

I'm guessing mine was produced when some options were being swapped out like lumbar support, during the gearing up to stop the sport and produce the FR.

MLILEY Should be easy just drill a hole with the correct size holesaw where u want the skt and then run 3 wires to the existing skt and connect them together (3rd wire for illumination).
