Quick question for anyone who has fitted the Powerflex or any other uprated dogbone bushes to their TDI.

Do they need to "Bed-in" at all?

I had my new bushes fitted yesterday (Torqued to the recommended settings) and the vibration at idle and low revs is very noticable.

I knew that there would be more vibration, especially after seeing the standard jelly bushes that came out but it does seem quite bad.

Someone please tell me that it gets better after a while.

Please:)

Probably not. The whole thing with Powerflex bushes is that they are (substancially) harder than OEM spec bushes. That's one of the reasons why the Powerflex items last longer than normal ones. They *may* bed in a little but don't expect much of an improvement of vibrations etc.

 You'll soon get used to it but as devonmikeyboy asked, why not standard ones?

Fitting uprated bushes is recommended on here, Briskoda & UKMKIV to reduce wheel-hop etc. which it does very well.

I read that there would be an increase in vibration, I just didn't realise that it would be quite as bad as it is.

I will proberbly give it abit longer and see how it goes. The guide that I read did say that if the NVH is too much that you should use the Small OEM bush and the large Powerflex bush, so that maybe an option.
