Powerflex dogbone insert...

I have ordered Powerflex dogbone insert because I have too much engine/transmission movement since Stage 2, but I am not sure do I need to replace also the lower engine mount purple bush part no. PFF85-505 , or just the yellow insert PFF85-504? Are there more vibrations and noise with both parts instaled?

You don't have to, it's optional. The bushes have had mixed reports, some saying that they greatly increase vibrations in the dash, but some people have said it's minimal.

I'm guessing this isn't on a Leon, as the part numbers don't correspond to the website?

Its for the Leon Cupra, the company from Germany who sells them gave me those numbers.

My bad, was thinking of the mk1 Leon lol!

Looking at the diagram on powerflex's site, i'd say that both would need to be replaced to get the full benifit. Only thing is to buy them and see what they're like when fitted.

Powerflex is only thing that I have manage to find in Germany, and I live in Serbia, so its very difficult for me to order something from UK, that VWR part would cost me 350 pounds to come here... I would try the Powerflex first and later I can buy something better! I have changed the exhaust mounts two times for 6000 km, because of the excesive movements of the engine/gearbox...

well IMO you wont notice much with the powerflex bush but the difference in the VWR mount is drastic, i have no movement what so ever, although i have the solid track version i think this is overkill and will be swapping it for the fast road version.

In the end you get what you pay for, try other companies like VF and BSH. A £25 bush is not gonna stop engine movement and if thats what your after your gonna need something more suitable.

I can get VF mount, but it comes with the insert like Powerflex, and I will try to find BSH next time when I go to Germany, that will be in two months.

if you can get VF mounts they will be fine, you could also look at the VF side mounts aswell, although some engine noise may be present in the cabin with the sides fitted.
