hmm, this would be fantastic if it can be done on the standard fr tdi 130 asz engine.. and would make the purchase of a descent VAGCOm cable worthwhile. any1 tried it yet on the pd130?

there was some great pictures on here some years back of an inlet manifold all caked up in black s***. thats a big benefit

any1 around the west midlands with a descent VAGCOM happy to do this??

Anyone with VAGCOM in the Leeds/ Yorkshire area?? As I am wanting to try this and afew other bits. There would be plenty of beer money in it for you. :)

Bringing this back for some questions, ive got an Alard EGR bypass on my car, so my idle MAF figures are higher than a normal EGR setup.

Does entering the new adaption limit also alter the fuelling of some sort due to the ECU knowing the EGR has been slowed down or in my case removed?

when i fitted the restriction gasket that i made i went to adjust the figures the way this thread suggests with vagcom and the figures were already pretty close to the way the thread suggests and i seemed un able to alter them and keep them at the new figures it wasnt a big difference in numbers anyway.

so im a little sceptical about adjusting the figures with an egr delete or restrictor gasket,i think it may have been adjustable if i hadnt already fitted the restrictor gasket i made.

My start numbers were a little different with the gasket so I just used the 33768 value, not sure if my car was fully warm at the time though.

I checked them last week after about a month of the change and it was showing 325mg/h with the value saved at 33768 still.
