Hi all im having trouble trying to code the rvc ive installed. Everytime I code my vehicle it is accepted but when I recheck the coding it has reverted back as if I haven't changed it. Ive have a 2016 leon 5dr 1.4 tsi with tech pack and no ops. Any advise or help would be appreciated :)

Sounds like your version of VCDS isn't a fully licenced version and therefore can't make changes.

Hi Andrew do you believe this is what is wrong? It is saying coding successful but i then turn everything off and lock the car for 10mins then recheck and the coding is back to default. Could you send me the link to the geniune vcds that I would need please if this is the case ill purchase the correct version :) thanks

you would need to purchase a real version from ross tech for like £250.

when did you get your VCDS from?

Hi Andrew I got it off ebay. I am able to set adaptions with it like carbon look cluster but coding isnt working. As I say its saying coding accepted but its reverting back to original coding when I recheck it. Ive now ordered the genuine cable from ross tech, should have done this in the 1st place. I'll let you know when I get it :) thanks again.

Hi Kong no I just changed the coding in the 5F unit. I don't think I have park pilot as I don't have OPS installed in my vehicle? Would do you recommend coding ? Thanks again Chris

Hi Kong I have heard of a few vehicles having RVC retrofitted without rear pdc system. My head unit screen is switching to park pilot but its then showing a black screen and saying park pilot unavailable. I think its may be a coding issue and theres a different code to use for non pdc vehicles?

its hard to say as the german forum doesn't says what version of infotainment is installed. your unit is the latest one so they may be completely different coding

Hi all just a quick update I have now fitted the carsystems.pl rear ops kit but when trying to access the park assist module to code via vcds it is unable to communicate with it. I have also enables the module via CAN but still isnt communicating. Assuming this is a wiring issue somewhere? I have followes these instructions

w w w.clubseatleon.net/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=118998#p1912830

But I havent put a fuse into the fuse box as a have placed connector into the fuse box is the fuse needed to complete circuit, it doesnt advise in the instructions?

the guide is correct if you put cable in fuse department as is on picture you need to put fuse in red square area marked on picture
unit cant work without power

Hi kong measured both can lines and power feed and all are reading ok. Retested attempting to connect to module via vcds but it not receiving communication. Do you think the module is defective or is there something else which needs done prior to coding? I have already enable the module via can gateway but not sure if im missing something else? Thanks again Chris

if the unit getting power and CAN high/low you should be able to see it after you activate in CAN gateway do you getting any error? Can you post your log?

What i would do it unplug all other cable, leave just power and CAN on parking unit, clear all error message from CAN gateway and scan it again. If this doesn't help the unit is faulty or wrong version for your car.

Hi kong this is my log from the CAN gateway whenever I enable park/assist module. I am still unable to connect to it. As wiring is ok I am assuming that the module supplied in my retrofit kit is either incorrect for my vehicle or faulty? What do you think? Thanks again Chris
