hi all,

every now and then, usually after running for a while, i get the sound of boiling water from under the bonnet.

now, the expansion tank isnt boiling, the temp reads normal and there is no obvious problem i can see.

the water pipes are very hot when its been running, but thats to be expected. kinda at a loss really and wondered if anyone else has had this?

Sure it's not your coolant feed for the turbo?

Long shot but my mate had this with his car (not cupra) and turned out to be the head gasket

hmmm, dont think its the heater matrix or head gasget, the typical signs for those arnt there.

Coolant feed to the turbo sounds interesting though. Any further details on that one? I know very little about the pipework layout.

There is a motor next to the driver side headlight that feeds coolant through the turbo. You should also hear this for abount 5 minutes after you turn the car off

If you feel the hose coming from it you can feel the collant flowing through it.
