just out of curiosity do you get any ignition lights when the key is in? as i had a similar problem where i wouldnt even get any ignition lights randomly, turned out it was down to bad contact and corrosion on the +ve terminal where that metal plate runs across that feeds the fuses on top.
Also had a problem of turning the ignition on- it would start up and just as it got to idle it would just die, messed around the MAF (bit of head scratching and re-seating, twddling) and now it's fine.

Unfort i can't be too more helpful than me and my buddy kev (posts as Havok316 on these forums) after work were gonna unplug the maf jobby but couldnt so after some tuggin and some screwdriver work, then a snapping sound of what was prob part of the clip, fired it up and its been perfect since. I did create a post on here as i was pissed that my car was useless due to non starting and stuck at work, think someone guessed it was the MAF hence we we re messin about with it

coolant temp sensor ??

we had one recently getting the wrong signal from the sensor causing starting probs, could be worth checking if you haven't already

Well went to get revo and it appears the fault still remains with mine...pulled up two error codes which were to do with 'lean fuel' or something like that...they reckon its the MAF causing the probs so i too am booked in with the local dealer. Always had a feeling it hadn't gone away. The guvnor at the revo dealer said the car had gone into limp mode which is why it had been running ok-ish. Also roly, i recall some sort of sensor prob when we originally ran diag on it, ah well down to the dealer to solve it now

REvo guy said the fault codes were P1128 Long Term Fuel Trim mult.,Bank1 System too Lean and another very similar sort of code.
