Problems with my CCM

Hiya,

Has anyone have any knowledge on CCMs for a 2001 (Yreg) Seat Leon Cupra 1.8t 20v.

I have no remote locking due to wrongly fitted CCM from previous owner the CCM i have in the car at the moment is: 1C0959799F. Also Craig with VCDS couldn't programme the second key as it was throwing up faults on VCDS.

I've been told that it should be a 1C0959799AH is that the case or does a 1J0959799AH work as well???

and any ideas on why VCDS wouldn't programme the second key??

I wouldn't imagine it'd be the same, I'm suspect the 1C would be for a Leon whereas the 1J sounds like the codes for a Bora

If the key won't program then it's more likely because the CCM is being the issue as it's not entirely compatible

Out of interest where is the CCM based in the Leon please? I've got faults on mine and need to find it for the part number to reprogram mine as well (similar issue with locking)

The CCM is on under the steering wheel buddy, its a black box bolted by 3 screws

If you need a replacement and want the correct one I believe that's what you need

Yeah Ryan thanks, I saw that but in the picture sat has a different part number that's what I'm worried about.

Maybe they've got more than one of them if they're breaking them? Maybe worth dropping them a message to double check?

Seat came back with 1C0959799F03M a totally different code??

I couldn't tell you exactly what you need to know but I have managed to fin this if it's any use to you?

Apparently the Leon's use 1C CCM's the 1J is the VW themselves
