Bet it feels good now that you've got an engine sorted, another hurdle crossed in the saga that is known as 'Project Cordy' ;) :D :thumbup:

I never chuck anything out mate ( which is why I can hardly get in my shed :( )

I'll see how far out I want to space the front wheels once I have some. If they need spacing far enough I'll just use the golf bits instead :D

No onto the search for the PAS pipes and I think I might need a new loom too :rolleyes:

You can 'just' change the tie rods to those from a 16V GT Passat (pas car) - about £20 apiece for GSF - I say 'just' as its a bitch of a job, the rack has to come out of the car and when I did mine a 6ft monkey wrench was needed - I think they are threadlocked at the factory with something VERY strong
