Project rear seat heating

Good morning.

Thanks to the new seat configuration, I now also have heated rear seats, which I would of course like to activate when needed.

The part numbers are from the Octavia 5E facelift:

- Control unit for the rear heating mats 3AA959772 with matching mating connector 6Q0937713,

- Buttons 5E0963105A and 5E0963106A. I will provide the item numbers for the matching connectors later.

I'm currently installing the buttons.

I'll probably install them to the left and right of the panel. There's the most space behind them.

So, the first implementation. But I'm not entirely satisfied yet. It's enough for a start. Now, as far as everything goes, let's wire it up.

The control unit with plug and a few cm of cable for the rear seat heating has been delivered.

Amazing project cairus. I like retrofits like these. I just didn't get what rear seats (bench) do you have. Standard leons or you swapped them for something MQB related?

Today I received several connectors for the rear seat heating. I'll let you know the item number.

The cable harnesses are being manufactured... the module will be installed in the center console. There's enough space and it's easier to reach than in the trunk behind the trim.
