Why not look at the R36 lump! Easiest way to do it is get a LHD V6, RHD leon for parts and a r32 Lump and chop and change. Would be allot of money tho.

That or just put an R32 badge on the back and learn to burrble through a microphone!

na, i would hav to have the real deal. i wouldn't like to be like one of those idiot drivers who have such cars as a ford focus gti, or a polo vts. thats also what i was saying about the leon cupra 4 and 4motion golf, surely if a 2.8v6 goes in a leon, y not an R32 block???

would righting this in ompalumpa be off any help??

ring jbs,they fitted one in a mk2 golf,they'll piss it in a leon,but you won't get 4WD without DEEP pockets.

soz if its an old thread but im interested....why would it be so difficult to fit a 4motion set-up from a donor golf?....is it the floor plan? if so could you not cut the leon one out then weld in the golf one?

floor mainly yes as most people cringe at a full floor and chassis change wellding and painting wise

you could cut out the original and weld in a leon one anyway that would be perfect as it's all available from a euro Leon

one day though

by time you've spent the ££££ you may as well have bought a R32 lol. but if you have to then go fwd as its going to be tonnes of ball ache for all wheel drive! though personally (and i know everyones different) i'd stick with the 1.8t lump and splash your cash there :)

Mark E is a rude boy:lol: wicked:D

i think you have to think where your aiming with the r32. leon will go 320ish before internals are needed. very quick FWD

stick an r32 in and add the weight of the running gear and youd be much slower. you have to spend again modding the r32 to get the power up to around 370 to match the leon.
if you got silly with lots of cash and made it 500bhp then it would be a very serious lcr... with traction[B)]

mrs tp heard a collegue chatting about his r32..bragging if honest. he mentioned 275bhp and rachel said "is that all? pats leon has 320bhp"

his reply.... "yeah but thats just a turbo isnt it? r32 has real power"

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Real power ... yeah and it also has a real fat a55 lugging all that 4WD around, a 320bhp Leon would make mincemeat of it!

A 320 Leon would have around 275 at the wheels, 275 R32 around 200 at the wheels .............. 'nuff said!

thought it was funny you lot saying that 320bhp leon would eat the r32 (which in my opinion hands down the leon would rip the r32) and im selling my 320bhp ibiza for an r32 and putting extra to afford a slower heavier car just meant im MAD but not when im finished with the r32 ;)

r32 =exspensive + tuning r32 = fcuk'n exspensive :lol:

r32 leon would be wikid but if you dont have the money to heavily modify the engine once its in there id definatly just tune the famous 1.8t!
