Puzzled!!

Have done a search, and not found what was lokking and no word from a thread in the Vag-Com section........

So am turning to all of you!! Where is the diagnostic socket located and what spec/type of cable is needed and then probably the version of vag-com needed to use the cable??

Answer the first Q, under the steering column.... pass on the next.

Thanks Tell, its not hidden under a blanking plate by any chance, did have a look there, may have to look boit harder next time?

Just pull the panel off just to the right under the steering column. It does need a good tug so don't be afraid to pull it hard.
