QI charging box issues

Hi All,

I anyone else with the Qi charging box having issues with it constantly stopping phone charging? I am using an iPhone 12 with the Apple magsafe case on which works with every other Qi charger i have, but in the car...needs to be removed and placed constantly. Tried with out the case, same issue. I wonder is this a dodgy install, or software issue?

The phone is to small and that leads to misalignement. Biggest problem is that it gets crazy warm.

Exact same problem with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, the wireless charger is useless

surely the max is big enough to not move around though, which might be causing the disconnection issues. when it does work the phone gets very hot also.

I have anker wireless chargers in the house and never had an issue.

for a €300 option, its useless!

I charge 11 Pro Max and 12 Mini. Both without any problems. I always put them as close to me as possible.

All home chargers have a single coil. The phone is placed in a specific place for the best fit.
In a car, it must be universal for each phone (additionally, the design in Seat forces it to be aligned with the top edge of the phone). Therefore the charger has several coils. We need to wait long time to start charging because charger looking for the best power fit on each coil.

I'm surprised it doesn't say "take off other things from charger" when the MagSafe case is inserted.

I charge an iPhone XR without any issue daily, it gets hot indeed,however it works without issues.
