ban the mrs and the chocolate fingerd kids from the car. thats what im going to have to result to. lucky i have leather to wipe those lovely melted choc stains!!!!!

Will be tight especially if the adults are near 6ft tall, I am & the front seat has to be about half way along it fore/aft setting otherwise the little one has no leg room (isofix Recaro seat) so I'm not at all comfortable in the front! Got an Altea too, thats not as bad, but wouldn't be easy with 2 boosters & a baba seat. Keep it VAG, Touran 140 tdi sport or if you prefer an estate, A4 130 tdi sport Avant (or 140 S-Line if you've got the bucks!), not mega room in the back seat though. But, its horses for courses & personal preferance aint it!

My daughter is having twins and has one little girl already aged 2. We tried to fit 3 baby seats in the back of my Leon.....they wouldnt fit. Two were the small infant carriers too. They are hoping their new Ford(cough) Focus will be a little wider. Guess that didnt help much :)

The new Honda FR-V has 3 front seats and 3 rear seats. It is a MPV but not too bad and a little different I think

humm a6 sounds good, dont want to spend much more then leon is worth
52plate tdi 110 with 78k .. oops

forget the leon mate and any such hatchback. im 6.1ft and its really tight at the back. Getting 3 kids in the back is possible however you will need an extra 3 to 5 inches extra which cars like the E class, 5 servies bmw, mondeo, advent will give to make it comfortable

I recently had the pleasure...yes pleasure of getting picked up in a Skoda Superb Taxi.....more room than my Passat and i sat in the back on plush leather seats looking at a very familiar dash etc thinking......these are bloody good value and roomy too.

If you can live with the badge give one a test drive

If you aren't bothered about fuel economy I'd go for a Volvo V70 T5 or Audi A6 Avant 2.7T Quattro, both pretty cheap to buy if you don't mind older models with quite high mileage. Both will last forever though if they are looked after

Why not?

Anyway - I looked at the Zafiras. They're actually not that roomy for a MPV and I'd rather a decent estate. Personal taste I suppose.

I just would not feel he was safe, without the seat between him and the windscreen, personal thing as well I guess.

Baby in baby seat by door on near side, one child in booster by offside rear door and third child uses a couple of cushions (got mine from Ikea) to raise child high enough so the belt is comfortable and not across their neck.

law states:
The child must use adult belt if the correct child restraint is not available as follows:

- in a licensed taxi or private hire vehicle; or
- for a short distance in an unexpected necessity; or
- two occupied child restraints prevent fitment of a third.

I have 3 kids, 3, 5 and 7 and I can fit them in the back although I've not done a very long journey with this setup. Had to buy an Espace for that...;o)

well ignore all the bits at the beginning of the thread lol saying its for my mate lol

we were doing the whole not telling anyone for the first 3 months!
well babies due next month and we are going to be sticking with the leon, if its too much to handle, my missus and i will sell both of our cars and buy one bigger one (not a shitroen picasso, or shiteifra, or a crapgane lol) and i will probably get an older run about (i wouldnt mind a mk1 golf gti or a 306 gti-6... but i think they are a bit impratical)

dont know why im posting this but heh maybe im just excited
