Questions on center facia & stanard cd changer

hi all, well this is my first post here, so please be gentle lol.
ok, i have 2 questions about my new ibiza, well its new to me.
ok....the center facia.....idealy id like to fit mt own head unit, i know there are some aftermarket bits you can add, but is it possible to retain the hv display and have a head unit aswell. but this will depend on my next question.

second question.... my ibiza didnt come with the cd changer sadly, so im looking for one.
am i right in saying ( due to my findings ) that the plug in the boot for connecting one is the thing long plug?? as i have no ibea.... any help here would be appreciated.
if anyone here has one id certainly be very interested in buying it if its not needed please, as the radio is getting somewhat boring now lol

theres a good guide on here on fitting an aftermarket headunit into our fascias if you use the search box

and the cd changer plug should be the one poking out from under the boot carpet i believe.

theres always plenty for sale on ebay, search under vw aswell
