i was thinking the same thing this week craig. good to hear the resistor mod is still going ok for you.
My car's going fine ta. Will probably blow it up tomorrow though if I wind out the powershot screw, to chuck in a little more LPG. Where's that KABOOM smiley?

Is it like a petrol car, it starts on petrol then you flip over to LPG when running?
@Stew, yes, I don't know if it's because of higher ambient temps but the MFA on the computer is closer to "real" mpg now, and the nice little torque boost is still there. Or maybe the ECU has learned ..... not sure.
Hello, yes it's been a bit quiet...
Nothing much to report other than a bit of clutch slip on the Passat; will be getting the map tweaked soon to limit the torque peak (and give a stronger top end).
What's odd is that it slips worse on hot days....usually clutch slip is worse when cold

thats odd that its closer to real... mine never got any better, and i dont understand the theory on how that would work if its still fooling the ecu into injecting more
It works mechanically from my boost guage feed pipe. More boost, more vaporised lpg is injected into the system. There's a screw I can twiddle to vary the injection rate, and another to dictate when it cuts in.... The instructions say don't unwind the injection rate all the way out as it might lead to engine detonation.... YAY! I might fiddle with the cut in so its comes in earlier than the pre-set 5 psi.
The theory behind it is that diesels never combust 100% of their fuel (especially when tuned up like mine - hence big black cloud of unburnt diesel) - lpg burns with the oxygen as an extra catalyst to burn the diesel more efficiently. Should give a whack more power, whack more torque, whack more economy in general, and actually improve engine combustion, leading to lower cylinder temps. (well, this is what they claim)

I've had a new steering rack this week after only 3000 miles and just spotted where someone has slammed their door against the side of my car but apart from that no problems.
No problems with my diesel! Apart from trying to get the amp fitted so nothing to do with it being a diesel!

I now understand why I paid it less than a vw,,, the damn thing is falling to pieces: everything made of plastic is worn, the driver seat is worn [kinda badly I must say], the steering wheel is worn, the gearknob leather is a bit ripped,,, everything seat on the car is ****,,,
fortunately the stuff by vw seems quite ok,,,
I just got the plastic undertray that's under the IC hanging off [not the big one under the engine - that one went long time ago] now, what you guys reckon? should I put it back in place in someway or I can take it definitively off?

At the moment i have a creaky door and some very squeeky anti roll bushins. however the plastics are very hard wearing in the golf.

@devonboymikey at the moment im runnig just 200bhp at the last rr but ive been told the map is designed for 190-195bhp, but aligator from TDICLUB will be sending me a map through email so i can get full benefit next week

Yep, sorted the connections problems,,, it was the electrical part of the ignition switch,,, the de-mounting of the whole steering wheel and columns was needed to change that piece of ****,,,

Well heres my problems:
1. Leaking condensor pipe found on Air Con service
2. Split track rod end - found on Annual
3. Play on ARB bushes again - found on Annual
4. Play in the wishbone bushes - found on Annual
1. Dealer quoted me £223 to replace the pipe - I did it for £16.
2/3/4. I'm changing the ARB bushes and ARB with the vRS fabia item. At the same time I'm fitting my Eibach kit and upgrading the wishbone bushes for the Cupra ones - oh and changing the track rod end
So all in all a few pounds to be spent.
