I ran my finger over the display and saw new functions!

Especially around the temperature-area. You can clearly see that there is possible to view kmh/mph and some sort of fuel-info.

Any ideas on how to activate these functuins?

Okay. fuel left & mpg. how to activate?
I saw a KM/h-sign. Maybe there is a digital speedometer?

I would imagine SEAT use the same display for all models so some functions will be different on lower spec models and in different countries

all the functions should work as the comp is fitted in all models for that reason. i recon there might be a problem if it doesnt change when you flick the switch

aye got a cupra, must have wrong stereo in mine defo havnt got mpg etc, is it the screen or the silver box that might be wrong?

ma sister's man drives a cupra also, he didn't appear to have a fuel computer, turned out it was because his outside temp sensor was goosed, or at least when he replaced the temp sensor he got all the fuel consumption/trip/avg speed/etc settings back :)

I'm 99% certain the temperature sensor will not have any effect on the function of the trip/mpg computer.

Yes it's a common fault, but the symptoms are that the temperature reading is wrong and the aircon sets itself badly.

If you're missing the functions of the Cupra 'computer' dash, you have the wrong (or faulty) headunit.
