Radio reception?

Is there anyway of boosting the reception as mine is pretty dire to say the least. Ive currently got a short stubby ariel as I did not like the standard one on.

in most cases as far as im aware you can get a booster which goes into the back of the HU. What stubby have you got, some of these are worse than others tbh.

I have the stubby C2 aerial, bought a booster off e-bay. However my reception is still crap. I now use the booster and the OEM aerial as this gives me good reception.

However if you still have the original HU then it will have the booster built in.

The headunit gives a 12v feed to the aerial, you replace the headunit and it won't get it any more.

I used one of THESE (got mine from Halfrauds).

Was running a Civic aerial with no real difference.

It is the stubby c2 aerial I have as well, also was an ebay job. Dont have the standard HU as when I bought the car there was no HU at all! lol
