Ive had my 2014 seat leon around a month now and have noticed the wipers dont automatically come on in the rain despite being turned on in the settings. Car was first registered in May 2014 so guessing the warranty would cover this? Or am i doing something wrong with regards to the setup. Its just off or on so unless theres something else im missing

There's a little switch on top of the stalk which controls the speed/sensitivity of the wipers, so you push the stalk up one click to activate auto wipers, then use the little switch from left (slowest) to right (fastest) to set the speed/sensitivity of them.
This is assuming you've turned it on first in the car settings.

If you've already tried all of that, then they are probably knackered and need taking to the dealer's if in warranty

check out the manual here, if i have read it correctly you also have to have your lights on the AUTO setting.

I never have auto lights on and my auto wipers still come on, not sure if anything changed between 2013 & 14 models

Did the previous owner(s) have the windscreen replaced? On some cars the light/rain sensors need recalibrating when a new windscreen is fitted.

not sure if you have solved the problem but here is a snippet from the manual in case you did not read it

Have you got the rain sensor at 1 and check your sensitivity level if none of this works take it back to the dealer.

Thanks for the responses. Didnt realise the rain drops on the stork indicated the sensitivity tested it out in some rain and all good
