I paid £192.27 fully fitted for two 'Uniroyal Rainsport 2 205/40 R17 W's - ordered online from Black Circles and fitted at the local garage next to my work which seem's to be a good deal at the moment, although they were £10 less a corner a year ago.
I can't convey how much more grip and confidence they bring over the Falken's. The dealer had fitted new Falkens on the rears before I bought her with half worn Toyo T1-R's on the front from previous owner, The T1-R's were great through the summer but wore out suprisingly quickly so the Falkens got moved to the front with new Rainsport 2's on the back, now I have two new RS2's on the back with almost new RS2's up front so can give them a full assesment.
The dry grip is probably on par with the T1-R's. What's really nice is they are SO much quieter at speed, just the general wind/mirror noise now where the Falken's used to roar. Must be down to the V-shape tread being less turbulent than blocks of tread?
I was just in thoughts of people who had come from Falken's or T1-R's to RS2's? Mine are on a 2007 PD130 FR BTW.
