Rattle/clunking noises

I have recently bought an Ibiza TDI Sport as a daily driver. I needed something with good mpg and this wee car fits the bill nicely.Now the bad bit,the car has an annoying rattling clunking sound that comes from possibly the near side front. The noise manifests itself on bumpy uneven road surfaces. I have tried to narrow it down to ascertain where it's coming from,I've tried going over speed bumps and trying to isolate the left and right of the vehicle to pinpoint the noise. I have also replaced the near side front spring and top mount,to no avail.whilst replacing these parts I had a good nosey around but could not find anything slack or worn !
I m wondering if I'm missing something obvious ? Anyone else had annoying rattles if so how did you fix them? Any ideas would be appreciated

I have the same problem which is one of many of my beeza, my clonking noise apeared after I have installed coilovers, I can't really hear the noise when am driving fast but.

Going to get it up on a ramp this week see if I can find the problem.

Let us know if you find what's wrong with it mate check if it's the wishbone bushes?

anti roll bar bushs / link arms. bottom arm rear bush. common for going. get a bar in there and see if there is much play

Well managed to sort it today.Replaced the drop links on both sides and no more clunking !!
Cheap fix in the end and not too difficult a job to do.
