Wonder if anyone can help me. I have a 2000 Toledo which has this annoying rattle coming from the top airvent that blows air on the front screen. It is most prominent when cold. I cannot seem to remove the airvent itself. Any ideas? I lifted a cover and unscrewed a sensor or somthing which has wires running through the middle of the vent (any idea what this sensor does - just out of curiosity). I've looked on the forum but no one seems to have a rattle coming from this section of the dash.

I also have a rattle which seems to be around the instrument cluster. Sounds like a plastic type rattle if that makes sense. Any ideas here?

Thanks

The sensor is a sunlight sensor connected to the Climatronic system. No idea about your rattles, I'm afraid.

I have the rattle on the top air vent sometimes! Normally a good couple of whacks will shut it up, and it seems worst on bumpier roads. Can't actually help you fix it I'm afraid, but let me know if you find a cure :)

My Leon does this. Whack it and it shuts up! But I think I read on here it's a loose washer holding the brace bar behind the dash. Live with it or take out you're dash! Strangely my V5 doesn't do it!
