hiya , my leon 1.8 20v turbo is rattleing and loss of power , oil warning light is flashing , have changed oil pressure swith but still the same , oil on dip stick is at max but is bubbly on dip stick . please help . is the oil pump run off a chain or ?????

Do you have a serious lack of power.
When xhecking oil maybe leave it a bit longer after driving before checking the dip stick, the bubbles could be giving you an artificially high reading.
But where the bubbles come from, I dunno!!

Is there any sign of any creamy / white coloured gunk around the oil cap or when you check the oil?

I think the oil warning light / Sensor measures flow past a certain point in the circuit as opposed to the amount in the sump.

I have heard about 1.8Ts that put the light on but still have a sump full of oil. If you keep driving this WILL damage something if it hasn't already.

If there seems to be pleanty of oil on the stick but the light is still on, it could be that the Oil Pump is not pumping properly.

Definitely don't drive it any more. That rattle could be a big problem mate!
