My fobs not working so have to re-sync it to the car, but the problem is, the manual states, you need two keys!

is there an alternative solution? :think:
 
The only thing I can think of (apart from a dealer job), is :

Get a blank blade cut to your key (about £2-£5) - use this in the ignition, and your key fob in the drivers door. Code it as per the instructions on this site (think there in the flippy key thread in the Ibiza section).

Needs to be done quick though as your alarm will go off after a certain amount of time has elapsed due to the key blade not having a transponder in it............

May work - may not ?
 
so does ecu only check immboliser when the cars started or when the ignition is turned on?
