listed in etka as same pads/discs for all but

rear caliper and frames (seperate) listed as normal / red / Cupra R all seperate

std and red i could understand as per mk2 listing but R is definately different numbers

for life of me couldnt tell you the difference off top of my head but pads/discs all listed the same?

might be a different piston size or bolt spacing - wouldnt mind a few measures to compare them to find out though

Ah ok lads cheers.

My brother's ordered a set of Goodridge hoses for a Cupra R, the front hoses fit fine but the back far too long and don't have the same fittings. I just presumed the Cupra and R had the same rear brakes - Ooops!

dont see why the hoses would be different, not as if the brakes are in a different position or anything

when you say far too long, remember the rear hoses (flexi bit) is crimped to the hardline so follow the hardline down to its next joint by the beam where it joins a short stubby flexi and you may have your answer. they would need to be alot longer

Cheers Bill.

Yeah we tried that but these bad boys are not far off a meter long. And it's totally the wrong fitting for the caliper, i think.

I'm looking at replacing my rear calipers on my Cupra, and it does appear that the Cupra rear calipers are a different part to the Cupra R, which I don't understand... The bummer is the Cupra R rear caliper is also cheaper than the cupra caliper... :(

Whilst on the topic, if I'm replacing my calipers (front and rear) - Do I need to get any other parts to go with this or is it just a case of calipers only needed?
