Totaly ot I know, but where does the expression "on the weekend" come from. I dont think its location specific as I've heard many people from all over the country say or type it.
I've always done things or gone out etc "at the weekend"
Just curious.

umm i did want to spray the black part the same colour as the car and the seat logo black, thought it would be a lot easier removing it before hand

Spray it whilst on the car, just cover the rest of the boot...? I know people that have done it, and it looks just as good as it would if you took it off :)

excuse the rain, this was done while one the car, much less likely to damage the plastic trim from the boot which is a pig to get on and off

it's real easy to mask off cos you can move the handle, I did it on my old one. Thing is if you take it apart and do it properly it will make a noticeable difference, I'll be doing my new one this week as soon as I get my arse in gear.
