Does the rear spoiler bond onto rear screen as well as the bodywork?

Yes it does, I'd say mine bonded to the screen better than the body work. I used sikaflex.

sikaflex 255 fc (fast cure) very quickly around 1 hour to touch dry especially on a warm day would still leave it 24hr though taped up before driving it just to be safe and be ultra careful not to get any excess on screen or paintwork nightmare to get off even after 1 hr should have no probs just take your time with lineing it up correctly.

Rear Spoiler

I have given the rear spoiler to my local bodyshop and have a query re the items supplied. The spoiler came in primer but fitted with a thin, roughly rectangular foam section glued to each underside end of the spoiler. There was however another pair of these foam sections in the box along with the glue. The foam which is fixed to the spoiler is a bit damaged and I wondered if this should be removed and the extra set fixed to the spoiler. If this is the case is this fitted to the spoiler after painting but before fixing to the car. Also, what is the kit glue like. Is it ok.
There is also a paper section fixed to the edge of the spoiler, is this peeled of after painting and before fixing?

It is a FL FR CR that is to be fitted with the latest spoiler.

Jumbo i assume that you are fitting the spoiler yourself in which case the foam pieces on each end need to be left on for painting but removed prior to fixing as i think that they are used as hanging mounts when spraying(see the small screw holes) and to create the required depth for the glue to sit in, the supplied glue is ok but there is better stuff like Sikaflex and the paper section you refer to fixed to the edge IMO needs taking off after painting as it then gives a nice clean edge for bonding this is what i did with mine pre facelift spoiler though hope it helps.
