I read an auto express (I think...) review the other day. Journalist said - if I was buying I would spend the extra £4k and buy the golf gtd.
I'm pleased he would have the option. If i had an extra £40k I would have bought a Porsche rather than my shiny new FR cr Tdi.
These magazines don't understand why people buy certain cars. I had a budget and wanted the best car for me in my budget. For me the FR ticked all the right boxes, Fast, economical, pratical...
I'm sure most people when they buy a car do they same, work out a budget and get the bast car possible. I'm sure we can all say "if i would have spent more i would have got a better car"
I think my new car is great and am really pleased with it. If I had had an extra £4k would I have bought the golf? Probably not, I actually prefer the FR and the kids would love a trip to Disney!
